Hausman first appeared on our label in 2018, when he graced us with the extraordinary “Aether” EP; more recently, he delivered an equally memorable new take on Marsh & Katherine Amy’s “Life On The Shore,” alongside Wynnwood. For his latest release, Hausman joins forces once again with fellow Boston-based talent 5ALVO, who, incidentally, made his Silk Music debut with “Erebus” (off the aforementioned “Aether” EP). The promising vocalist (and label newcomer) Lumynesynth completes the trio; together they present “Eden,” an emotive and lyrically profound progressive gem.
“Eden” opens with ethereal pads, which awaken the listener to a gradually expanding soundscape, as the lush and heartfelt vocals of Lumynesynth take center stage. Just after the quarter turn, the percussive elements take on a distinct heft, courtesy of a full-bodied, yet beautifully mixed groove. As the arrangement proceeds toward the breakdown, Lumynesynth’s vocals continue to guide the listener to the safety of a distant haven, thereby delivering on the promise of the song’s title. In spite of the song’s formidable low-end presence, “Eden” remains a contemplative journey from start to finish, reinforced by the breathtaking refrain, “I found a home in you.”
Meeting Molly has been a reliably brilliant presence in our roster this year; his take on “Eden,” featuring a variety of sensual, atmospheric flourishes, is yet another masterful addition to his oeuvre. Deeply resonating keys and somber pads engulf his signature deep groove, collectively creating a transportive aural experience, akin to a night of stargazing in the high desert. The slower cadence of the arrangement provides ample space for Lumynesynth’s gorgeous vocals and Meeting Molly’s own instrumental motifs to shimmer and set the listener’s heart aglow.

Just found the sound iv'e been searching for so long. I wondered when I would listen to ambient tones and melody that combines this perfect symmetric sound.
True art.
A whole new world for many curious listeners out there. Melodic house genre has been my life since I listened to Contact by Glen Morrison in 2007 - I am now 28, and this A.M.R. album gave me the mindset of another 10+ years. mixmix1234
